Citizens of India, as specified under Articles 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India, are invited to apply online until 5.00 PM on April 17, 2021, for the following vacancies of LDA and Copyists in the district courts of Hojai, Charaideo, and South Salmara, in the scale of pay Rs.14,000-60500 with Grade pay of Rs.6200/- and other allowances admissible as per Rules. The allocation of posts to various groups will be done in accordance with the rules. The number of vacancies mentioned below is just an estimate, and it could change at any time during the selection process.

Selection Procedure :
General Written Test (OMR-based objective questions with multiple choices) of two hours and 120 marks I General English (50 marks), General Knowledge including Computer Knowledge (30 marks), and General Aptitude (20 marks) (20 marks) (2nd) Assamese is the official language of the state of Assam, and it is worth 20 points (which will be qualifying in nature, qualifying marks shall be 40 percent of 20 i.e. 8 marks). The marks earned in the Assamese language section will not be used to compile the written test merit list. Candidates will be called to the viva-voce in a ratio of 1:3 from the rank-wise marksheet of the written exam (3 times the total posts of a specific district) (15 marks). The final selection will be made district-by-district based on the candidates’ cumulative marks in the Written Test and viva-voce.
