Job Description & Roles and Responsibilities :

The following are some of the duties associated with Level 1 Service Desk Support:

Level 1 IT Service Desk support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via phone, chat, email, voicemail, and the web (Self-service)
Management and reporting of incidents, queries, and service requests (incl. escalation)
Remote desktop support, user access control, password resets, account unlocks, VPN issues, Microsoft issues, Internet, Soft & Hardware issues, Windows and OS support, and so on.
Internal Service Desk Support/Knowledge Base should be reviewed and updated on a regular basis.
Self-service/self-help tools and programmes should be implemented and maintained.
Report on any known outages and their effects on operation.
Fair awareness and relevant experience in Alert Monitoring are preferred (incl. escalation)
Understand the issue, conduct a search on the Knowledge Management Tool, and effectively communicate/narrate.
Listening, Empathy, Courtesy, and other soft skills are included.
To keep and delight clients, employ professional techniques.
Provide excellent support and settle issues quickly and professionally.

Eligibility Criteria:

Customer contact is kept to a minimum under supervision.
Understands the terminologies of the Domain Method and its sub processes (such as SOP QC checklists).
Handles for projects and processes Assigned transactions are processed at the first stage. Supervisors and Line Managers are referred to for complex problems (procedures, processes).
Follow quality guidelines to meet goals and volumes within a defined time frame (Turn around time).
Follow the process’s required industry regulations and enforcement criteria.
Management of Information, To interpret documents and related terminologies, be familiar with different document models and standards (such as SOPs).
Management of people and teams.
In terms of time sheet submission, assimilation, and attendance, follow the org’s hygiene and enforcement requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 0-10 years of experience is required.
Excellent written and verbal English contact.
Shifts: The job entails working in a 24-hour setting, including night shifts, with shifts determined by business needs.

Mandatory Skills:

Should have 0-1 years of experience with the Java technology stack in web or application creation or research.
Should have a good understanding of OOPS, Core Java, and Collections.
Should be familiar with web technologies such as JSP and Servlets.
JDBC experience is required.
Should be familiar with at least one web platform and the Persistence framework.
Ability to use Build software to write build/configuration scripts
Ability to write easy joins in Basic SQL

Should be able to interact effectively with other project teams (e.g., functional, development, and testing).
Should be a strong team player as well as a quick learner with the ability to pick things up quickly.
A charismatic personality with a strong sense of duty and a positive attitude is needed.

JAVA (at least 1-2 years with Java 8) and J2EE experience (JDBC, ORM, JPA, JMS)
Open Source software, such as Apache, are a plus.
Awareness of database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Experience with microservice systems such as Spring Boot and Drop Wizard is a plus.
Message Broker experience (Kafka/Rabbit MQ, etc.)
Spring Core and Integration experience is a plus.
REST Web Services experience, Spring Restful Web Services
Linux and Unit platform experience
Working knowledge of Gitlab
Functional research experience with REST-based webservices
Unit testing methods, such as Junit and Easy Mock, should be familiarized with.
Ability to take action and own it
Comfortable working for both technical and company teams
