HPCL owns and operates refineries in Mumbai and Visakhapatnam, with built capacities of 7.5 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA) and 8.3 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA) and HPCL also owns the country’s largest lube refinery in Mumbai, with a capacity of 428 TMTPA for producing Lube Oil Base Stock. HPCL owns a 48.99 percent stake in HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL), a joint venture that operates an 11.3 MMTPA refinery in Bathinda (Punjab).

Selection Process :
a. Multiple shortlisting techniques, such as a computer-based exam, a group task, or a personal interview, can be used in the selection process.
b. All candidates who appear to meet all of the eligibility requirements will be invited to take the Computer Based Test.
c. The computer-based test will consist of two sections and will consist of objective questions with no negative marking.
I. General Aptitude, which includes the English Language, a Quantitative Aptitude Test, and a test of Intellectual Potential.
II. Technical / Professional Knowledge, which includes questions about the appropriate qualification degree and educational history for the applied role.
d. Candidates who pass the Computer Based Test in the order of merit and according to a fixed ratio will be recommended to upload supporting documents.
e. Qualifying applicants will be called for Group Task & Personal Interview based on their submission, uploaded papers, and category- and discipline-specific merit lists in the Computer Based Test.
f. To be eligible for the next stage of the selection process, candidates must achieve minimum qualifying marks in each of the processes, namely the Computer Based Test, Group Task, and Personal Interview.
g. All candidates who pass all stages will be placed on a merit list organised by category and discipline. Computer-based test + group task + personal interviews, followed by an offer of employment based on the available vacancies in each category and discipline.
APPLICATION PROCESS
a. Online applications will be approved from 1200 hours on March 3rd, 2021, to 2359 hours on April 15th, 2021.
b. Candidates are required to apply online only after reading the comprehensive advertisement at http://jobs.hpcl.co.in/Recruit New/. No other application method or mode will be accepted.
c. Applications that are incomplete, incorrect, or do not follow the specified format will be rejected.
d. The email address and phone number entered in the online application must be valid for at least a year. Candidates must use e-mail addresses that have been established with their names. Applications of fictitious or bogus email addresses will be subject to legal action.
e. All information provided in the online form will be considered final, and no modifications will be considered.
